Palworld 1.0 rebuilt the three Wildlife Sanctuaries as guarded conservation areas instead of interchangeable poaching islands. Each now has its own environment, wild habitat group and guardian encounter. Defense drones sweep the terrain with searchlights, so every visit starts with a choice: infiltrate for one target or accept a wanted fight and clear the route.
The current game files separate all 18 resident species by stable sanctuary spawner ids. That gives this page an exact progression route, not a launch-day list copied from an older map: Forest spans levels 20-28, Volcano 35-48, and Desert 45-60.

Choose the run before crossing the perimeter
Use stealth for a capture run. Mark the target from the roster below, open its sanctuary waypoint, stay outside searchlight cones and fight only the spawn you need. This keeps the resident battle separate from the guardian and reduces the time spent carrying a wanted level.
Go loud for a guardian run. Bring enough spheres, ammunition and healing for the listed boss level, then clear space around the arena before committing. The wanted system escalates to stronger pursuers at higher levels, but pursuit can now be disengaged and the status clears after you remain undetected. Break line of sight and leave the patrol area instead of dragging the chase into the next objective.
