Improve talented-Pal rolls, catch rewards and reel control.
This four-Pal fishing party covers four separate parts of a cast: Solmora improves the talented-Pal roll, Jelliette adds catch rewards, Gloopie reduces gauge loss when the bars miss, and Whalaska starts the gauge higher and accelerates progress while the bars overlap. Each effect works from a party slot and is individually non-stacking, leaving one flex slot for travel or safety.
Every slot has a job. The cards below show the exact synergy, its rank range, who it affects, and a mapped route to recruiting that pal.

Solmora, Jelliette, Gloopie and Whalaska cover the talented-Pal roll, bonus catch rewards, reduced gauge loss, a higher starting gauge and faster overlap progress. The page treats this as a complete starting template, not a measured claim that no other situational setup can be better.
Yes. These four effects are described as working while each Pal is in your party, so none of the four needs to be the deployed Pal during the fishing minigame. Duplicate copies of the same non-stacking effect add no benefit.
