Catch Squad

Updated

Choose a back, Freeze or Ivy setup, then target passives and preserve spheres.

This party is a capture toolbox, not five additive bonuses. Wispaw rewards a back-bonus throw, Muffly raises capture level against Frozen Pals, and Souffline does the same against Ivy-Covered Pals. Pick the setup your target and status skills support; this guide does not assume those capture-level bonuses stack. Yakumo influences eligible passive rolls on Pals you capture, while Katress can prevent a thrown sphere from being consumed.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is the practical capture rotation?

First decide whether a back bonus, Freeze or Ivy-Covered setup is easiest for the target. Weaken it with Mercy Hit or a Ring of Mercy so the setup cannot accidentally finish the Pal, apply the chosen condition, then throw. Keep Yakumo actively fighting only when you are hunting one of its eligible Passive Skills.

Do Wispaw, Muffly and Souffline stack?

The current data proves three separate condition checks but does not prove that their capture-level bonuses combine on one throw. Treat them as route choices and use the in-game targeting percentage to compare a back bonus, Freeze and Ivy-Covered against the same target.

Does Katress return failed Pal Spheres?

No. Katress gives a thrown sphere a chance not to be consumed. That is preservation at throw time, not a guaranteed refund after a failed capture.
